Early Signs of Pregnancy & Early Pregnancy Symptoms: The List Of Signs
There are few symptoms that are the prime indicators of your pregnancy and these are:
- Missed period- if your menstrual cycle was quite regular and come after 28-29 days, but then you are missing a period then it is a common sign of pregnancy. However there are other factors too which can delay your periods so it is recommended not to rely totally on this indicator and do look out for other signs. If your periods were irregular or you have come off from pill or some hormonal contraception, then a late period does not indicate that you are pregnant.
- Nausea or morning sickness – it is not necessary that morning sickness only happens in the daytime. It can happen anytime and the feeling can be of either throwing up or actually vomiting. Nauseated feeling vanishes in 12-13 week and not all women suffer from morning sickness. You are lucky if you are not feeling this way because symptoms of pregnancy vary for different women.

- Altered senses – A lot of women are of the view that they become more sensitive to aromas and even the smell of cooked food can make them sick. You feel like starving but the thought of eating can make you repulsed and you find that eating is a difficult task for you.
- Frequent urination – you may find yourself going to the washroom frequently. It is a good sign of pregnancy and starts at the early stage.
- Sore Breasts – another sign of pregnancy, but some experience breasts sore before bleeding. If you are experiencing increase in breast size, tenderness and darkening of nipple area then it’s also another sign.
- Fatigue – it takes a lot of effort to grow a baby and you might feel that all of your energy is drained. So you will be really tired for no reason if you’re pregnant.
- Mood Swings and raging hormones -You might experience changes in your mood and temperament, it is because the body is adjusting itself to the new state of pregnancy. Therefore you may feel emotional and mood swings. It’s normal to have mood swings during your pre-mentstrual cycle, but if it continues and your period doesn’t arrive then it could be a pregnancy symptom.
- Spotting – women usually bleed lightly or just have a spot after 9-10 days after fertilization. It is quite normal and is not a sign of your regular periods. Once it is over and you confirmed it that you are pregnant now you should not bleed anymore. If you have other than this period then immediately contact your doctor.
These are the most common signs of pregnancy. If you are having these symptoms then it is better to check for pregnancy.
These are often confused with PMS so the more you know about them the better it is. You can perform the pregnancy test at home or through doctor. But once it is confirmed that you are pregnant take good care of yourself and of course of your soon to be arriving baby too!
